8 Photos Of Happiness

I'm so sorry if I seem really inactive on my blog lately, but as you're reading this I'm probably lying in the sun trying to get a tan. Yes, I'm sorry for using the holiday excuse again but I promise I'll be more active on my social media when I return.

Anyway, back to the actual post. I was kindly nominated by the wonderful Bria Lou from Louleecutie.blogspot.co.uk to do the 8 photos of happiness tag. Check out her post here! This tag was created by the wonderful Ariel. I absolutely love the idea of this, because for me a picture really does speak a thousand words. Let's take a look at the photos shall we?

The Rules
  • Thank the nominator/s and link them in the post
  • Link the creator Ariel
  • Post your 8 photos of happiness (the photos can be anything that represents a moment, object, place or feeling that makes you happy)
  • Pop in a brief description of the photo, why you chose it, or let the photos do the talking!
  • Spread the happiness and tag up to ten other bloggers!

For some reason my sister wasn't too pleased with my pose of choice

This first one is from when my family surprised me with a trip to the Harry Potter studios for my birthday. It was honestly one of the best birthday presents I've had because I'm the biggest Harry Potter fan ever. My family pretended that we were going to visit a friend of my dad and I was in a massive strop in the car because it meant that I had to cancel plans I already made. I obviously forgave them when I found out where we were going and to this day I have no idea how they managed to keep it a secret.

This is a proper fetus Izzy photo and it was taken by my friend on a year 7 school trip to Warwick Castle. As you can see, my class is standing by the lake which we actually weren't allowed to do. We were proper rebels and ran down to see the catapult display and chilled until the teachers came and rounded us up. Half the people on the trip came back with detentions but it was one of the school trips I've ever been on.

Let's just excuse how unphotogenic I am. This was taken on my 17th birthday when my friends gave me the best time ever and I literally couldn't thank them enough for it. They even brought in a Colin the Catapillar cake to have at lunch time.

It goes without saying that my selfie with Sir Alfie Deyes has to be in here. He was the first YouTuber I ever met in person and he was literally too kind for words.

This was taken on one of the most amazing nights of my life, the Ed Sheeran concert in October. But this is a mysterious photo-oh yes! See, my sister took a photo of the stage and looked back and this random piece of hair (at least I think its hair) was in the camera shot. The even weirder bit was that no one sitting near us even had that colour hair. Creepy eh?

This photo is from when I went to see One Direction in Wembley Stadium last Summer. I couldn't get over how big the stadium was and the atmosphere inside was incredible. Luckily, the weather was fantastic too; there wasn't a single cloud in the sky.

Since going to concerts is my favourite thing in the world to do, I had to include a photo from my first ever concert. I went to see Katy Perry with one of my friends in year 8 and I was so excited about it. However there was a bald, tall man sitting in front of us so you can see his scalp in every single one of the photos from that night which makes me laugh.

And finally, this isn't one of my own photos but it makes me happy. It's the Birmingham German Market that takes place every year. I always feel so festive visiting it and it never lets me down. Every time I go, its bigger than before so I'm always more impressed than the last time I went.

My nominations:

Thank you so much for reading. The song of the day is Night Changes by One Direction. What are some of your favourite memories? xxx

I'll be back!

This year I'm going to Germany from 22nd of July to the 13th of August. I'm really excited because I'm going to visit friends and family and having a good ol' catch up with them. Not to mention the food is incredible!

Sorry, couldn't resist using this picture!

But don't worry, I'll be productive for my blogs and YouTube channel while I'm away. I really want to vlog my holiday because I want to share it and be able to look back on the great time I had. Also, I have pre-written a couple of blog posts to post while I'm away. I'll probably be doing updates about my time on my twitter and Instagram too.

I'm gonna do my best to stay on top of things while I'm away but I cannot guarantee I'll be as active online as I usually am. Since I'm going to visit friends and family that I don't usually get to see, I want to be as social as possible to them while I'm there instead of burying my head in my laptop. If I do get comments on posts or videos I'll try to reply but I'll probably just catch up with everything when I get back to England. Also, I'll catch up with Beau Bloggers posts when I get back, I'm seriously gonna miss reading them.

Thank you for putting up with me and hopefully you understand. I just want to take the time to mention that if I go on about my holiday a lot over the next 3 weeks, I'm not trying to brag, I'm just literally buzzing for it.

Here's the video I made to explain where I'll be

The song of the day is We're All Going On A Summer Holiday because it really fits this post. Are you going on holiday this year, if so where? xxx

Which One Direction Member Is My Soulmate?

This post is a little random but I thought it would be fun to release my inner fan girl. As you can tell from the title, I found out which One Direction member is my soul mate... apparently. Well I'm still waiting to meet him.

I absolutely adore this band and I love each of the boys so much so I wanted to let an external factor decide who my soulmate is. In the video I found my soulmate by completing a quiz to determine it. Also, just to check the results, I took several other quizzes after filming this video and they all stated it was the same member. It must be true then!

I hope you guys enjoy and have managed to put up with my crazy fangirl side once again! The song of the day is Magic by One Direction themselves because its one of my favourite songs by them. Do you like One Direction and if so who is your favourite member? xxx

Name Dilemmas

I'm really excited to share my new video with you. This is actually the second time I filmed it because silly me somehow managed to delete the first one before I had the chance to upload it. I'm a bit of a plonker sometimes.

Do you ever get it where people can never pronounce, spell or simply just get your name right? If so, you're not alone as I will show you in this little rant. I've also included a couple of scenarios where I have dilemmas with other people's names and things get awkward. Also, lets play the game "how many times does Izzy want to mention the names Izzy, Isabella and Isabel in one video" because I'm pretty sure I did it more than 100 times!

Anyway here's the actual video, I hope you enjoy:

The song of the day is That's Not My Name by The Ting Tings because it suits this topic pretty well don't you think? I hope you enjoy the video and let me know if you have any name dilemmas of your own xxx

Sprinkle Of Glitter's Book Signing

I seriously cannot believe I'm typing this but yes, somehow I was lucky enough to meet the wonderful Louise Pentland at her book signing in Birmingham. Her YouTube channel, Sprinkleofglitter, has over 2 million subscribers and she deserves every single one of them. She makes beauty and lifestyle videos and shares her hilarious sense of humor in all of them.

How much do we all love the colour scheme of the book?

Holy Moly I actually have a signed copy!

Louise's book, Life With A Sprinkle Of Glitter, has already been a huge success and I know it will continue to be. It is a non-fiction book about her life experiences and filled with advice in general. You can tell it really is Louise's book because it's filled with her bubbly personality and it just feels like you're sitting down and having a chat with her. Even though I've only had this book for a couple of hours, it's already one of my favourites. I can just tell that I'll keep going back to it and read it over and over again.

I went to the book signing with my fellow YouTube fangirl, Georgie. However, before we made our way into town I went to Georgie's house to chill. We watched American Horror Story and the Inbetweeners (aka the best TV shows ever made) and hyped ourselves up about meeting Louise. Then, at about 2.30pm we started making our way in because we wanted to be nice and early.

As we got there early, the queue was not too bad. I'm glad that we got there when we did because the queue soon started getting bigger and we would have been there for hours otherwise. You could tell we were eager.

There must seriously be something about the YouTube community that naturally makes people be super friendly. Even the security guards were kind. They're usually trying to rush you to make sure everyone gets a turn, but these ones were making sure everyone was prepared and even said "if anyone gets too hot in here, let us know and we'll help you out". Awww

We had just had a moment to catch our breath after walking to to the top floor when, from the corner of my eye, I saw a women walk into the room. A woman so beautiful she could honestly be mistaken for a Disney princess. I think the reality of where I was hadn't quite hit me yet because all I remember thinking was "Wow, that woman really looks like Louise". And then I realised that it actually was Louise, LIKE THE REAL LOUISE WAS STANDING IN THAT ROOM!

The whole room did the fangirl scream (you know the one I'm talking about) which was then followed by loads of awww-ing. I had no idea what everyone was cooing about until I heard someone say the name Darcy. Yes, I kid you not, Louise had even brought sweet little Darcy along- and let me tell you she is adorable.

As we were approaching the table both mine and Georgie's hands were shaking with excitement. I had heard the boy in front of us talk about how his first date was in this Waterstones. I can only assume he told Louise this as we could her her ask "Waterstones? WATERSTONES? You went on a date to Waterstones? Please aim higher". I literally couldn't stop laughing when I heard this.

As we went to her table she was still in shock about someone going on a date to Waterstones that she turned to us and asked "have you ever been on a date to Waterstones?". I replied "No I can't say I have" and told her that she looked beautiful. (I'm such a beg, I know but I couldn't help it). I still can't believe that I actually talked to her. Like, she actually said words to me and I actually said some back!  Darcy was occupied by playing with something on the table. She was so cute sat next to Louise and was extremely well behaved. She clearly has a fantastic mother.

Louise was so kind and lovely. You could tell that she was happy to be there. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take any pictures inside but that's understandable because at her last signing some people took too long taking selfies that not everyone was able to meet her. I think that she came up with the best solution as she was able to meet everyone and thank them for their support. I'd just like to say a massive thank you to Louise for doing this signing and being so happy whilst doing it. As cheesy as it sounds, I think the memory of this day will stay with me forever.

As soon as I got back all I wanted to do was read the book from start to finish. But alas, I had psychology homework to do in the meantime. Grrrrggh why does Sixth Form think it's appropriate to still be on at this time of the year?!? But I've already had a sneaky look through the pages and the book looks AMAZING. I honestly don't think I'll ever get bored of it.

Why did today have to end? Can I do it again tomorrow? Honestly though, I had such a lovely time meeting Louise at her signing. She deserves all the success she's receieved and I was more than happy to purchase her book. Do you guys have a copy of this book yet, and if so what do you think? xxx
