Weekly Summary: 3rd Week Of July

Guess who's a massive blonker? That's me! I normally write these posts on Sundays so that it's an actual summary of the previous week, but I was just scrolling through my blog (as you do) and realised I completely forgot to post it. #mybad

So here we go, these are the videos I posted last week:

I'm Going Cruelty Free- I've written a blog post about this topic, and now I've finally posted a video on my channel to make it official that I'm no longer using products that are tested on animals. I've received a lot of support for my decision which I'm pleased about. A lot of people seem to have faith in me that I can give up MAC and Rimmel (even I was skeptical at first) and I think everyone got that I wanted to get my message across without being preachy. So if you haven't watched the video already, I'd highly appreciate it if you could listen to the message of the video and the reasons why I'm no longer buying animal-tested products.

Sunset Catching- Who thought it was a good idea to go looking for a sunset in cloudy England? Yep, it was me. I went 3 times with friends to find a sunset to take good videos and pictures of. Unfortunately we never found a good one. The sky turned lots of different colours one night and I captured that, yet it still wasn't a proper sunset. Nevertheless, I still had such a good time being out and about by the lakes and canals with my friends in the evening.

So that's what I got up to last week. The song of the day is Make You Feel My Love by Adele simply because its come on my playlist right now. I hope you're all having a wonderful Summer. I don't know what it's like globally, but right now in England we're all sweating our butts off in this heat wave!

5 Things To Do This Summer: 2016

I believe that this is the 3rd "Things to do this Summer" post I've ever written on this blog, I can't believe blogging has been part of my life for so long!

And it looks like it's time to write the 2016 edition (you can check out last year's here!) This Summer will probably be a memorable one since it's my last Summer in education. Well, technically, I've officially finished education and I'm not really on my Summer holidays, I've started my new life as a grown adult *internal crying*

So this Summer I need to have a good ol' think about the future... Like, I have no idea what I want to do with my life as of this point. Like legitimately no clue.

Therefore, I'm just gonna make the most of this Summer in the meantime and hopefully just get off to a good start for the rest of my life. Even though I have literally zero ideas and plans, I'm really really excited about all this at the same time.

So without further ado, here are all the things I want to have achieved by the end of the Summer:

1. Channel tidy up- That's right, I want to up-swag my whole channel and get some sort of new look. I'm pretty happy with my profile pic at the moment because I feel like it prepares people for what they're about to see when they click on it. However, I would like a new channel intro, banner, endslate and more. And I definitely want to improve on my video quality and invest more time into editing etc. But that might take more time than I hope because I've already prefilmed all my vids for the rest of September and I need to get all the videos edited and uploaded by next Friday when I go away for a while, so there is a lot to do in the mean time.

2. Organise for all my holidays- This year I'm very very thankful to be lucky enough to go on like 3 holidays this Summer. I'm going to Germany, London for SITC and then Dublin with some friends. So I need to do A LOT of packing and organizing for all those trips.

3. Get a job- And to fund my Summer spending I definitely need to organize myself a job. I don't think I'll have time to actually start working during the Summer (what a shame!) But I definitely need to get one organized so that I can start ASAP.

4. Organise things for my gap year- So in case you haven't already gathered, I'm not going to university next year. That means I have a gap year to do anything my heart desires in it. But the only problem is I have no idea what I should do to make the most of my year off.

5. Make the most of the Summer with my friends- A lot of my friends will be going to university/ moving so I really want to make the most of the Summer with them. I know I'll still stay in touch with everyone (good luck getting rid of me basically), but it would still be nice to hang out with everyone as much as possible.

So that's what I want to personally do this Summer. The song of the day is Cake By The Ocean by DNCE because it's my ultimate Summer song. Do you have any nice plans for the Summer? If so let me know in the comments,

Weekly Summary: 2nd Week of July

I have no idea if this counts as the 2nd or 3rd week of July, but I've just said it's the 2nd #YOLO!

This week I posted two videos (as per usual). My first was an Izzynterview, which is my monthly collab with 3 of my youtube friends. This month I collabed with Lynxey, Farah Asif, and BrownieBunny. They all make such amazing videos and I truly love watching all of them so I hope you will too if you check out their channels.

The second video which is what I posted today, was the 7 deadly sins of makeup tag which I was very kindly tagged in by my friend on youtube, Daisychainsintherain. I simply love love LOVE talking about makeup so I clearly had a lot of fun filming and uploading this video.

I really hope you enjoyed watching these videos. I'm going on holiday shortly and after that I wont have time to film videos for a while so I'm prefilming like CRAZY so that I'll have videos to upload while I'm away. The song of the day is Hair by Little Mix. Thank you so much for watching,

Weekly Summary: June/July

Hey guys I'm back for my 2nd weekly summary of videos from the last week in June/ first week of July. So here are the videos I've posted on my youtube channel this last week.

The video I posted on Wednesday was my first ever monthly favourite video. I usually do seasonal favourites on my channel, but since I'm posting more regularly I decided to post favourites videos more frequently too. That way I can talk about more products more often.

The video I posted today was my 6th form Summer leavers ball get ready with me. I've never actually filmed a grwm before and since I left it pretty much last minute to film on the day I was kinda a bit stressed but I still managed to leave the house on time. I'm not even sure why, but this video took me like a billion years to edit but it was fun to put together nevertheless.

So here's everything that's been going on with my channel this week. The song of the day is Boss Ladies as in the song from the show "Dance Moms" because I've been binge watching that like crazy today and that is one of my favourite routines from the series. Thank you so much for reading,
