6th Form Leaver's Day

Friday was a pretty emotional day since it was my last official day of 6th form. Even though I've completely despised A-Levels, it's still crazy how fast these last two years have gone by. And even though I won't miss all the stress of exams, I'll 100% miss all my amazing friends that got me through the last 2 years, and all the banter along the way.

Hope my friends wont mind me posting this lol,
but they've already seen it on my instagram and I think it's cute

The best part of 6th form has got to be lunchtimes with my friends. I'll really miss grabbing a panini and mocha from the cantine, and then heading up to the classroom we used to spend our lunchtimes in and laughing till our stomachs hurt. I truly have to say how lovely each and every single person in my friendship group is. My squad has never had a real fall out (which for teenage girls is pretty impressive) and I honestly feel so blessed to have become such great friends with every single one of them.

For our last day, everyone in the sixth form had to dress up. Each year takes it in turn to have a letter spelling out the school name, so this year we all had to come dressed as something with the letter "C", so we went as cabin crew. I totally wanted to come in with little life jackets and oxygen masks, but some people said it wasn't "classy" enough and that idea was soon scrapped. Nevertheless, I think the costumes looked pretty swag and I had fun going all out with the fake tan.

In the morning I had two resit exams, straight after each other, which were Chemistry and Philosophy. I'm not gonna lie, I'm certain I probably failed them but then again that's just in my pessimistic nature. Then one of my friends kindly picked me up from 6th form and we headed to my friend Emma's house to all get ready to head back there at 2pm. We grabbed a few chips from the local chippy and had a cheeky bit of prosecco (which I really needed after those exams) which was an incredibly classy looking lunch.

When we got to 6th form it was so much fun seeing everyone's costumes and they were all so creative. My favourite ones have got to be the climbing wall (like an actual wall) and two boys who came dressed as Charles and Camilla. It was really nice seeing everyone for one last time and everyone was in such a good mood too. We were all kindly given a bottle of champagne... well obviously not each... we were given it in groups. Quite a bit of it got wasted though as people were shaking up the bottles and spraying them everywhere. Needless to say we all left soaked in alcohol. And then the started blasting out the tunes such as Gold Digger by Kanye West (yes I know all the lyrics!) and Mr Brightside. I literally love whenever that song plays at a party because no one can resist singing shouting along to it.

The rest of the night consisted of us going to a pizza restaurant getting something to eat yet again. Then we headed back to one of my lovely friend's house and guys I'm not even joking when I say she has a legit bar in her house. Like a legit one with taps and everything! I think it goes without saying that we had quite a lot of fun mixing cocktails that night. We of course decided to blast out really mature songs since we're adults who have just left college. The songs of our choice were of course high school musical and chitty chitty bang bang. Not gonna lie it was quite the juxtaposition having drinks whilst you can just hear "bang bang chitty chitty bang bang..." in the background!

Don't get me wrong, I didn't drink a stupid amount that night and I woke up feeling fine the next morning, but I still feel like going on social media whilst being a bit tipsy wasn't the smartest idea going. I checked my snapchat and my friend had asked me a question and I did my absolute best trying to answer it sensibly, but tipsy Izzy just didn't do a great job of that. I then woke up to several people's screenshots and I was like omg what did I do? But then I noticed that I had sent these snapchats to at least 4 people...

Literally can't remember even taking these
yet alone what I was trying to say

You live and you learn eh?! So that was my last ever day in official education and I have to say it was one of my favourites in education. I just need to get through the actual exams now! The song of the day has got to be Mr Brightside by The Killers because everyone loves singing that at parties. Have you broken up for the holidays yet, or do you still have exams like me?

Izzynterview With: Gianbros Eleven, Antonio Puno and EverydayAlina

Hey guys I'm back with one of my favourite types of videos to make; Izzynterviews.

Here is my version of the video

In today's collab I'll be joined with 3 of my lovely friends. The first is Gian from Gianbros Eleven. He posts amazing covers which you just need to check out, as well as challenges with his friends and vlogs. He always seems to be in the happiest mood and his videos truly put a smile on my face.

The 2nd person is Antonio Puno. His channel specializes with hair videos and tutorials, which are very informative and you can tell that he really knows what he's talking about. He also shares vlogs about what he's been up to lately. He is hilarious in every single one of his videos and always leaves the nicest comments on mine and other people's videos. And did I mention that he loves noodles?

Next up we have the beautiful Alina from EverydayAlina. Her dedication to youtube is actually off the scale because there are not a lot of people out there that post as often as she does, yet alone post such creative videos. Some of my favourite videos of hers are when she tries out apps, because she is honestly so entertaining to watch.

So that's everyone that I'm collabing with this month, I hope you love their channels as much as I do (which is a lot). The song of the day is Reaper by Sia because I'm absolutely obsessing over her album at the moment,

Spring Favourites

Hello everyone, today I thought I'd share with you what I've been loving this season:

This Season's favourites include music, makeup and things I've been loving on the internet in general. I'd say its the biggest range of things I've included in a favourites video so far.

This is my last ever Seasonal favourites video, before I start doing monthly favourites because I feel like I need to do them more regularly. The song of the day is Stressed Out by Twenty One Pilots because it may or may not be in the video. I hope you've enjoyed watching,

Shawn Mendes Crazy London Adventure

Me and Georgie were lucky enough to get tickets to see the absolutely wonderful human being who is Shawn Mendes on the 6th of May. Only problem was the concert was in London... and we don't really know our way around London.

We decided to get the train from our local train station straight down to London at around 3pm, so to leave us time we got to the station at 2.30pm. But it was just our luck that on that day nothing seemed to go as planned, starting with the train being delayed until about 4 o'clock. And when we did get on the train, the only seats available were in the "quite zone" where you're politely asked to remain as silent as possible. But let's face it, when me and Georgie are together, being quite is not a realistic expectation so I think the whole carriage was blessed with hearing our little chats.

When we arrived it was about quarter to 6 and we needed to get to Hammersmith from Marylebone as soon as possible. Baring in mind, we had no idea how the tubes actually worked, so we googled which ones to take and attempted to buy the tickets. The ticket machines would only take cash or cards to pay, and guess which two muppets only brought money in the form of notes with them? So we quickly had to buy mints from the shops to get the change we needed.

Then we finally hoped on a tube and we followed where we were going on the map and realised that the tube was going the complete opposite way to where we needed to go. So then we had to quickly hop off at the next stop, and being anxious of the time, we had to find the tube that goes the other way. And then typically, the station that we had to get off on was closed until the 26th of August... brilliant!

So having absolutely no idea where to go and legit thinking we'd miss the concert, we asked a women next to us on the tube where we could get off since the station was closed, to which she responded "SHIT IS IT?!", she had to get off there too. Luckily, she seemed to know where she was going so me and Georgie subtlety followed her (ok she totally knew that we were stalking her and we probs creeped her out) until we found the next tube. It was an absolute miracle when we got to Hammersmith.

We were so happy when we finally made it!

We knew that the venue for the concert was close to the station, but for some reason we couldn't see it despite it being right opposite the station. And I mean right in front of the station. Like right in front. We spent longer than I'd like to admit looking for it!

Luckily, the doors hadn't opened by the time we got there so we didn't actually end up missing the start of the concert which I was surprised at. And can I just say how talented Shawn really is. He definitely had amazing stage presence and had the whole audience engaged all the time. Each song was performed to perfection and I don't think there was a single person in the room not up on their feet dancing, singing along and just having an amazing time in general.

Sorry I only got really rubbish photos,
but I thought I'd share them anyway

I would say that the absolute best part of the concert was when he got the whole room quite. And I mean it was so quite it was almost ghostly, and you could hear the microphones buzzing and everything. He was determined to get the whole room silent, and every time someone would say something he would just continue to make it silent. Then he stood on stage and sang the chorus of the song, completely acoustic and no microphone. It was completely bizarre to hear the singer of the song's you've been listening to for ages, actually just sing it right in front of you. He managed to sing it so loud without a microphone you were even able to hear him at the back of the venue which was incredible.

Unfortunately, we looked like such fake fans and had to leave early to catch the last train back, which meant I missed Stitches, one of my absolute favourite songs in the world :( We went outside to find the taxi that we pre-booked, but it never showed up which was rather annoying so we had to leg it to the tube station last minute. Aaagaiiin, we had no change so we quickly had to run to a newsagent and buy mints again. We just about managed to grab the tube in time and when I searched how long it would take to get back to Marylebone it said 29 minutes on google maps. Then the panic started to set in because it was 10.47 and we had a train to catch at 11.05. We legit thought we wouldn't make it but it turns out google maps was just lying to us and it only took us 10 minutes to get us. We didn't realise that in time though to stop us running all the way up the escalators in the station in between tube stops. So needless to say we got there pretty out of breath.

So that was our little adventure in London. Even though it was pretty stressful at times, I still had an amazing time. I just wish we could have watched the whole thing because he's absolutely amazing live. I will 10/10 be getting tickets to see him again. The song of the day is Something Big by the man himself, Shawn Mendes. Do you listen to Shawn Mendes, if so what is your favourite song of his?

Reading A Message From My 16 Year Old self

Today I thought I'd share a reaction video of myself reading a message from 2 years ago (great maths there Izzy).

Have I changed at all? Find out here!

You can check out the message I wrote to my 18 year old self here, and the message I've written to my 21 year old self here. I love doing these sorts of posts to see how much I've changed over the years and if anything stays the same. I also like seeing whether I've achieved the goals I set for myself.

I really hope you've enjoyed this post, the song of the day is Aftertaste by Shawn Mendes. If you could write a message to your future self, what would you write?

A Message To My 21 Year Old Self

Today I'm gonna be writing a little message to myself to look back on when I'm 21. I wrote a similar post to read back when I was 18, which you can read here! So how much will I have changed? Let's find out...

Dear 21 year old Izzy,

I can't believe its time to write one of these posts again, oh how time flies eh? It's 18 year old Izzy here, this is what you look like now:

Here are some of the many accidental selfies
you took on your oversensitive-front-facing camera.

You can probably remember this, but at the moment I'm the most awkward person going. Like seriously my confidence levels, I mean they've been a lot worse, but you can do better Iz. If I could describe myself in one word I would say shy. Don't get me wrong, I'm soooooooo loud and crazy in front of my friends and on the internet. But if in real life if you're not the one to start the conversation, good luck talking to me! I would also say your banter is on point (others might say that's debatable though) and your puns, especially your bread puns, are pure genius if I do say so myself.

So not much has changed since you were 16, I'm still a huge ass fangirl. The artists and bands I like to listen too are: Ed Sheeran, Little Mix, One Direction, Mc(Busted/)fly, Troye Sivan, Lana Del Rey,
The Vamps, and so many more. The things I like to do in my spare time is film videos, edit videos, plan videos, upload videos, watch other videos, blogging, organizing and planning internet projects, shopping and hanging out with friends.

At the moment I'm just finishing off my A Levels and they're pure hell. But I've only got a few weeks left of them which is good. I'm so excited for leaver's day, even though I've got two resit exams in the morning. And then I have my leavers ball in the Summer (which reminds me I need to get a dress omg) and then lot's of exciting things in the holidays. First I'm going on my family holiday to Germany, then I've got SITC in London, and then I'm off to Dublin for a few days. Just listing those things makes me so excited! And then my gap year will begin, and even though I have zero idea about what I'm gonna do in it. I want to get a job and save up money, but also make the most of once in a life time opportunities.

What I want to have achieved by the time I'm 21:
  • Dye my hair all sorts of cool colours
  • Move out of my home and possibly get my own place (if that's even possible in this economy!)
  • Travel as much as physically possible
  • Have gone to a music festival
  • Not be shy anymore. Seriously I'm sick of it
  • Work on more internet projects
  • Do lots of volunteering
  • Have somewhat of a career going

Questions to myself:
  • Did you end up doing all the things in the list above?
  • Did you ever end up going to university?
  • What do you do for a living?
  • What's the scariest thing that happened to you in the last 3 years?
  • Are you happy?

So I'm gonna have fun reacting to this in a video in 3 years time. The song of the day is Thunderbirds Are Go by Busted because it's what I'm listening to at this moment in time. If you could write a message to your future self, what would you say?
