I Found The Secret To Life (The Law Of Attraction)

Recently, I've come across this theory which has honestly changed my life. It is essentially the idea that you can shape your own future and reality using just your thoughts. This post is all about how I know it's possible...

I'm in no way claiming to be a Law Of Attraction expert, but I must say the more I learn about it, the more I believe in it. What makes me believe in it the most is the fact that I hadn't even heard of the phrase "speaking things into existence" before I realised it was happening to me. That's why I really believe in the power of it, because it was something I realised was happening for myself before even hearing this theory.

So I was noticing really weird coincidences happening in my life. Like things I couldn't even imagine in my wildest dreams were happening. Good and bad, like "oh wouldn't it be my luck if I bumped into this person" and then I'd happen to run into them that day. Then my friend on YouTube, Louise, made a video which literally blew my mind because it explained everything I noticed happening. If you haven't already, please check out her channel because she is literally a queen and explains this a lot better than I can.

Like I said earlier, I'm definitely no expert when it comes to this topic. But from what I've gathered it works is in 3 stages:

1. Ask (for what you feel you need)
2. Believe (that what you're asking for has the possiblity to come true, even if you don't know how)
3. Receive

Buuuut there's a slight twist. You can't force the law of attraction. You can't be desperate for what you are asking for, and you can't be obsessed with it. It's all about putting ideas out into the universe, and the universe rewarding you with what is right.

For example, if you're begging the universe for your crush to text you back, you can't force it. No matter how much you want it to happen it won't... trust me I may be speaking from experience! The right things will just organically happen if you let the universe do it.

Now I've gone on about weird coincidences happening in my life. It was sort of like when you have a dream, and then that dream comes true. Like an idea popped into my head and I thought "hey wouldn't it be weird if that happened" and then it would.

Well, I mean one time I literally did have a dream that came exactly true. Even if it was a mediocre one. I dreamed I was walking down a cul-de-sac, with a hedge along the path and I could vividly remember each house on the road and where all the signposts were. Now this really wasn't a familiar road to me at all, and there was no actual reason for it to pop into my mind. The next morning I had a driving lesson and my teacher told me to take a left into a cul-de-sac. And you've guessed it, it was the exact one from my dream. Like I had no idea this road even existed, yet alone knew it well enough to picture in great detail only to go down it the next day on my driving lesson. My instructor seriously wondered what was wrong with me because I literally went into a state of shock.

And another example of when I knew something was GOING to happen was when I was at work last year. For some reason I just knew that the mum of my friend (who also worked at the shop) would come in that day. I just had a vision that said "Jack's mum will come into work today". Now I had never met her before in my life, didn't know what she looked like, Jack didn't tell me she would come in and I just had absolutely no reason to assume that she would come in. And would you believe it, I was doing my afternoon shift serving a customer when Jack comes up to me and says that the women I was serving was his mum. I didn't even feel shocked because I just knew it was going to happen. I just didn't expect it to.

So I'm not fully sure if the last two examples even count as "the law of attraction" or if they're just weird coincidences. But the next example was the final straw for me, that I knew that someone out there in the universe just had to be listening to me and that I was speaking things into existence.

The other week I met up with an old school friend and we were reminiscing about how people weren't the nicest to us back in the day. There was one boy in particular that was sort of the ring leader of all the mean comments directed at us. Me and my friend were wondering what he was up to now, and what he'd say to us if he saw us now. As we were talking, it just hit me that I would see him later that week. I had no idea when or where, I just knew. We don't have any mutual friends, and I actively don't follow him on social media, so it's not even like I'd know where he'd be or anything. But I still knew that I'd see him.

That Wednesday I went clubbing in Birmingham (a huge city with plenty of nightclubs to choose from) and guess who I bump into. That delightful boy! I wasn't even surprised to see him because I knew that it was finally time for us to meet again. Without trying to sound too big headed, the comments he was making that night were a lot nicer than the ones he made to me in school and it was very clear the tables had turned. Of course I had no interest though, and karma had it's little kiss for him ;) But it was one of those moments that felt like was meant to happen. Like those horrible times I had in school were all worth it for that moment. Thank you universe for that reward!

So that has been my little post on how I've noticed the Law Of Attraction working in my own life. The song of the day is When You Believe by Whitney Houston. Let me know in the comments what your thoughts on this are,
